Joseph F. Beach

Joe leads and coordinates the services of the Police & Homeland Security, General Services, Enterprise Risk, & Information Technology departments. As Deputy GM for Mission Support, he promotes the efficient and cost-effective operation of WSSC Water’s business services.

Joe holds multiple degrees, having earned his BA in History from University of Michigan, his MA in Public Affairs from George Washington University and a JD from University of Baltimore.  

Although Joe hails from Michigan, he has spent most of his life in Maryland, where he enjoys golfing, hiking and gardening. Joe also enjoys reading, particularly history and biographies. Having recently read a biography of Teddy Roosevelt, Joe says our 26th U.S. president proved to be a great public leader and very complex man, who managed to accomplish a great deal during his nearly eight years in office.
