The Customer Engagement & Advocacy Division works directly with customers and community stakeholders to better understand and meet our customers' needs. We provide information and education on a wide range of water and sewer issues in the communities we serve. This division informs communities and stakeholders about WSSC Water priorities and projects and promotes customer assistance programs and initiatives.
The team also promotes, raises money for and administers the Water Fund, which helps pay the water and sewer bills of Montgomery County and Prince George's county residential customers experiencing financial hardship. It is funded through the generous donations of customers, community members and WSSC Water employees. The Salvation Army administers the Water Fund and is responsible for determining eligibility.
