On April 19, 2023, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) adopted a Temporary Water Bill Amnesty Program regulation.
Under the Temporary Amnesty Water Bill Program, which will run from June 1 through June 30, 2023, WSSC will waive fees and grant certain bill credits for eligible customers who either pay their delinquent bill in full or pay 50 percent of the bill and pay the balance within six months. The regulation also provides incentives for other customers.
