CSU-AAUP collects dues through payroll deduction and pays the following on behalf on each member:

    National AAUP Dues (calendar year): $172 for full-time members; $43 for part-time members

    Collective Bargaining Congress Dues: $5 for full-time members; $2.25 for part-time members

    Connecticut State Conference AAUP: $7 for each member, full-time and part-time

    Rebate of Dues to Local AAUP Chapter: ~$10 for each member, full-time and part-time

The balance remains with CSU-AAUP and is used primarily for the purpose of performing its duties as the exclusive representative of the faculty (i.e., collective bargaining, contract administration, and grievance-handling).
